PAIA & POPIA Requests

Last updated: 30 October 2026

How to ask for access to records we hold (under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000, PAIA) or to use your rights over your personal information (under POPIA).

1. Our Information Officer

2. Your personal information (POPIA)

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email our Information Officer with:

  • your name and contact details;
  • what you are asking us to do; and
  • enough detail for us to find your information and to confirm it is really you.

We will respond within 30 days.

3. Access to records (PAIA)

To request access to a record we hold, send the prescribed PAIA request form to our Information Officer. You can get the form from the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za. A prescribed request fee may apply. Contact the Information Officer for more information on how we handle record requests.

4. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
